Cuplift vs Beanconqueror
Updated
Both are free, and both keep a record of what you brewed and how it tasted. The difference is what happens next: Beanconqueror is a thorough logger, and Cuplift tells you the one thing to change for your next brew.

Choose Beanconqueror if
- You brew espresso, or want pressure profiling.
- You use a Bluetooth scale and want brews recorded live from it.
- You want a native app that keeps everything on your phone.
- Open source matters to you.
Choose Cuplift if
- You brew filter coffee — pour over, AeroPress, French Press, cold brew — and want help getting a bag right, not just a record of it.
- You'd rather be told what to change next than work it out from your notes. See how dialling in works.
- You want to add a coffee by pasting its link or photographing the bag.
- You switch between phone and computer, or want to share a recipe with a link.
Using both
They don't compete for much. Plenty of people log every espresso shot in one app; if you brew filter too, Cuplift can sit alongside it for the coffees you're dialling in.
